Director of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, School of Architecture NTUA and of the Laboratory of Spatial Planning and Urban Development. She has conducted 30 research projects, on the alternative proposal of the contribution of culture to spatial development, and in particular creativity and urban tourism, as additional possibilities in urban planning for the development, improvement of functionality, management and administration of cities and small settlements. She has a large number of publications and participation in Greek and international scientific events. Member of the Scientific Committee for Regulatory Plans and Urban Studies and the Standing Committee on Spatial Planning of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE). Elected member of the Scientific Committee of Architects’ Specialty, Delegation of the Technical Chamber of Greece, Delegation of the Association of Greek Architects and currently of the Higher Disciplinary Council of the Technical Chamber of Greece. Elected member of the International Executive Committee of the International Council of Monuments and Sites, Technical Adviser of UNESCO (ICOMOS). Founding member of the Association of Friends of the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens and President of Association of Greek Urbanists and Planners.
