In addition to fine finds from the Byzantine and Romanesque periods, the collection of the Pinacoteca di Bari hosts numerous Venetian paintings by Antonio and Bartolomeo Vivarini, Giovanni Bellini, Paris Bordon, Paolo Veronese, Jacopo Tintoretto; Neapolitan paintings or paintings belonging to the Neapolitan school of the 16th-17th centuries including works by Paolo Finoglio, Master of the announcements to the shepherds, Andrea Vaccaro, Luca Giordano, Giuseppe Bonito, Lorenzo De Caro, Francesco De Mura, Fedele Fischetti, Domenico Mondo. The Pinacoteca also boasts a prestigious collection of nineteenth-century art, with paintings by Giuseppe De Nittis, Francesco Netti, Domenico Morelli, Giovanni Boldini, Teofilo Patini Morandi, De Chirico, Sironi. In addition to the permanent collection, its rooms also welcome temporary exhibitions and shows.
